Floral Nexus was created as a set specifically for exhibition in various arrangements - all with the diagonal design elements hooking up visually to create a feeling of flow from one canvas to the next.

They are all collages of pre-print paper on cradled birch panels with layers of acrylic paint on top for the floral and landscape elements. As you can see, I love color and pattern! I wanted to re-create the overwhelming rush of warmth and life I feel when flowers and plants first come out in the spring and then when they start to fade and unleash their scents and seeds in the fall. I wanted to bring the outdoors indoors. Here are a couple of gallery views below from a show at the Marion Art Center in Marion, MA. I like how the architectural elements of the space also have a flowing decorative design! Each panel is 20 inches by 30 inches and 1 inch deep.
